Default If I get new shocks, will they lower my car?

Currently, I have the Eibach Pro-Kit springs on the stock shocks. I have had this setup for approximately a year and a half now. In a couple of days, I am going to order the TOKICO Illumina shocks. My question is: With the Pro-Kit/Illumina combination, will my car be lower than with the Pro-Kit/stock combination? The reason I am asking is because I have wheels with a +37 mm offset, and I rub sometimes, and if I lower my car any more, I will rub all the time.

if you get adjustable shock/spring combos (coilovers) you will be able to adjust (albeit marginally) the ride height and stiffness of your car. Odds are, the springs will be the limiting factor in your setup and they will keep your car from riding lower than it already is. Your ride will stiffen up with the illuminas (great shocks, btw) and you'll get better reaction out of your suspension, but it won't do much for the height of your car.

Yup, you shouldn't see a difference in ride height by just changing the shocks. You will see an improvement in the ride and handling.
