Default Expo 3: limited access to event

Ok, just spelling this out loud an clear for everyone. I have sent out 3-4 emails about this as well. We have 320 preople PAID to attend to the last thing we need is 100 more people trying to sneak in.

You MUST have your name on the guest list. To do this you must pay $25.

The Auto-X at the track was canceled today so that leaves us more parking space and less excuses for people to try and sneak in. Since we will be on of the only things at the track if you are not on the list we will not allow you to stay.

I apologize for this not sounding nice but We have crowd control to worry about with the number of people we have and the idea of non regulated others concerns me. This is the best way we have come up with to prevent too many more people and to add some security to the event.

Also anyone that doesn't pay even if you do get into the track will not even be allowed to come in the banquet facility. This building is almost ayt max capacity before anyone else tries to get in so please be aware of this. We will be taking tickets to allow access.

dont like the idea of having to pay(other than paying to normal fees to access the facility) just to attend the expo. no problems paying if I plan to attend the banquet, but just to attend and observe I dont think you should have to pay the full $25, especially if I have an R. just my 2 cents and dont think Im gonna make it anyway.

We are not charging just to attend. W e are charging for the banquet and to attend. If you chose not to come to the banquet that is your choice. I can't really imagine coming to the event and not staying for the party. And I have made 2-3 exceptions to the rules based on circumstances.

That said $25 isn't that much and it keeps people with good intentions in and peoploe with bad ones out (For the most part). 320 is a FREAKING LOT OF PEOPLE. My normal events here have 50-60 total people at them. This is going to take a lot of work on several people part.

Dang, my cover is blown. I'm Trey and Trey is me.

I support the idea. There is no reason why people would just drive to watch a track event. Seems kinda weird to me.

As I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is/was an official ITR track event... that has somehow transformed into a H-T meet. I love all Honda's, but it's grown into something else.

I personally think we should blame Trey for putting together an Expo that is just too cool, with so many sponsors and etc that would cause more people (and drivers) want to attend.

I agree.. DOWN WITH TREY DOWN WITH TREY DOWN WITH TREY!! lol

assdime: camp we-todd will have security, and if someone steals **** from there, I will ignore the "no fighting" rule for whoever beats the **** out of the person stealing ****.

That said, I still don't expect problems based on track events I've done in the past.

So lets open up the whole track

To clarify.

1) You MUST be on OUR guest list to get into the track and the banquet.
2) You MUST have paid $25/guest to get on the list (see #1)
3) You will be asked to leave if you are not on those lists.

I have worked very hard to accommodate people but i am not going to be so nice when someone strolls up playing dumb. I have emailed everyone at least 4 times and some individually 7 or 8 times asreminders. This is simple. If you paid you are welcome. If you didn't pay or register you are not on the guest list (See #1). If registered and didn't pay (Deadline was March 17th and I put up with Whining until the 21st) you are NOT on the guest list.

Simple as that.

So, let me get this straight. If Stiffany shows up because she hears Chad is going to be in town we have to turn her away?

Good rule, unless your name is Chad.

Yes, in cases of females, the We-Todd-Did racing crew needs to verify their wholesome intent before allowing them entry to anything but Tent We-Todd-Female Testing Center.
