Default Took her to the dyno....

Here are the pictures of the dyno plot and the car.
I have a bad clutch and I cant get traction so I cant pull the time I know the car can run. On the falkens I pulled a 14.4 at 97 mph, oh well, anyone have a set of slicks I can borrow?

Not bad. Not bad at all. I'm sure you will get much better times once you get those slicks.

you are right, something is definitely wrong with running a mid low 14 on a type r block. my very first crx with a bone stock b16 and IHE and a chipped ecu went 14.2s on honda blackies with generic tires.

I find a 14.2 hard to believe. I see people at the track all the time and no one in a b16 can pull that kind of run. I know I can do better, but a slipping clutch and no traction off the line is killing me. Give me a set of slicks and a good clutch I am sure 13.5 is easy to pull off. If you are that good of a driver then props to you, but a 14.2 is hard to believe.

c-mon 14.2 that is hard to believe maybe high 14s or really low 15s maybe low 14s on slicksmy friend in a hatch w/b16a stock exhaust and a filter on the end of his intake tube ran a 15.2 and his hatch is just as light as most crx's

yea times are slow for the power your putting down...i have the exact same times and im putting down ~150whp and ~115lbs TQ on a stock block and head B18C, but i have a good clutch...and i still think im slow...low-mid 13s with them #s plus slicks and a good clutch

You also have to take elevation, and temperature into account. The same car will run different times at different tracks depending on the elevation, and temperature.
I personally ran a 15.1 in my 91 CRX HF with B16. This was my very first time at the track with my B16. I have I/E/ 16" heavy rims, with Nitto 450's. It was run at the Ennis, TX track at around 70-80 degree weather. Not a great time, but like I said it was my first time at the track with my B16. I can launch way better now, but I've yet to go to the track again.

Are your rims sized differently? It looks like your fronts are larger in diameter.

i don't find a 14.2 hard to believe, my 89 hatch with 92 b16a, I/H/E/UR underdrive pulley, ran 14.1@94 on slicks and a 14.6@96-97mph with steelies, the car weighed 1925lbs without me in it and 2100lbs with me in it. (Rockingham Dragway, Rockingham, NC).

No those are all the same size. I weighed my car and it came in at 1950 without me in it and 2100 with me in it. A 14.1 with slicks is more believable especially with that weight. He said he ran with generic tires, I would love to race him even with my bad clutch. To bad he is in Cali. I also need to raise my rev limiter to 8600 and stay in the gear a little longer. I am shifting right at the 8200 rev limiter right now. That should pull a little more time off too. Does a VAFC change the rev limiiter? or just the VTEC engagement point? I dont know to much about that thing.

91 crx with b16, stock rims, full exhaust, a guy i know, ran 14.7 at the track, and he's pushin 230 pounds. just exhaust though.

i might get a b16, when i do i'm gonna hook like a bitch. lsd, coilovers with camber kit, nitto 15" 205/40's. should be fun.

All I've got is a bone stock 1st Gen B16 w/ LSD, with a K&N drop-in and a Thermal Exhaust. There are lots of factors that come into play..

14.2's its a lil hard to beleive too...
i seen a EG HB with ITR engine run 14.00....
a EF chasiis with a ITR should be into very high 13's
i personally have squeezzed the 15.4 with just a Z6 with I/H/E.... and MSD switch...
i know i can take her lower with VTEC map , tunning, and a 2.2 60'
anyways u running a 14.4.... u should do better.... get a clutch... and from there well see the big diff u going to make!
