ok, i got a 86 crx si what hood should i go with?? the plastic piece were the latch is, is gone. um, i was wondering?? any1 make a hood that bolts on and covers that part to??? I DON'T REALLY WANA BUY IT I THINK THE HOOD GOING OVER LOOKS WAY BETTER!!! THANKS GUYS JEREMY

 

i dont think that anybody makes one readily available, but I am sure you can probably get one made. ...for the right amount of money..

can you not replace it with another plastic piece?

 

Get a big *** piece of plexiglass and slowly heat it up to match the curv of the car. Then cut a space for the headlights and bend the front down in the middle to take the place of the piece you were talking about.

I just thought of this idea, so I haven't had time to think of any major flaws as of yet.
You'll need hood pins for this too, btw. Probably...

Another option if you wanted to make it would be fiberglass...mold one off your current stuff or make your own (custom) molds.
