Default Exciting weekend...

...well had an exciting/educational weekend.

Saturday
Decided to take a trip up our local curvy road last night before the Malaysian GP (GO MCLAREN!) I've had the ITR for about two months now and I'm starting to feel pretty confident in it but I learned my lesson last night. Going through a long sweeping 180 degree turn a little too fast and slip there goes the rear end Car ends up spinning completely around and I'm heading backwards for a guard rail, managed to stop before hitting but wow it was scary. Well just thought I'd share my near miss story. I think I've learned my lesson, must respect the car and stay below the speed limit

Sunday
Ferrell and I cruised around and took a few pics, enjoy guys

I did that once in my Prelude... freaked the hell out of me after almost smacking a tree. Taught me a huge lesson.

It's good to hear that other people have made the same mistakes. I still can't get over how easily this car oversteers

Wet on ramp at 2:00 AM 0wn'd me. No damage, just spun a little more than 90 degrees and seriously freaked myself out. Funny thing is, I automatically reacted with "in a spin, both feet in" and turning into the spin when it became obvious that I wasn't going to recover it. And that was long before I'd ever heard the phrase. Too bad I'd never heard "don't lift".

lol, I did about the exact same thing a few days after I got the R on an onramp.

BTW, those UKDM R wheels are fantastic looking on a PY car. They're 15x6, correct? How much does a set usually run?

Nice yellows.. Too bad they don`t exist in Europe

Last year in November I put on the winter tires and they sucked in the first curve on wet road... The rear broke loose violently and for a second or so I totally lost control over the car... But the road was wide enough so nothing happened.

Try a big parking lot for testing out 180° limits... On track it`s even dangerous because you could hit another racing car or a wall

The UKDM wheels are made by Enkei, 15x6 and only 13lbs. I'm not sure how much people are asking for them, might send Cheeseman a message, they came w/ the car when I purchased it from him.

If your looking for a set anything is for sale for the right price hehehe
