Default Quick question. Are EG springs the same length as EF springs?

I got a set of Eibach's for a 94. If I put them on a crx, will it lower it the same amount as EF EIbach springs would?

Im running EG kg/mm springs on my CRX. To sum it up, on Koni Yellows, the kg/mms on the bottom perch is the same as eibach sportlines on the top perch.

And a picture:

The blue ones are kg/mm SR21 Supersports. The lower ones are Eibach Sportlines.

The supposed drop on the kg/mms are 1.8" on an EG. If i would have put them on stock shocks, or the top koni perch, I would have about a 1" drop. The lower Koni perch allows me to go 1" lower, so I have right under a 2" drop at the moment.

they will fit but the OBVIOUS POINT here is the weight of the car. just cut em and put them on.

NO! they are not the same the EG front springs are taller so if you use a eg lowering spring in your car it will sit higher then its intended lowering.

Thanks for the info. Their not for my car, someone with an EF was interested in buying them from me and asked if they would work.

Incorrect, they are not taller (as illustrated in the picture above, EG springs on top, ED springs on bottom). The spring rates, however, are stiffer, so the spring will not compress as much as the softer rate ones will. If you have Koni Yellows on your car with the adjustable perch, then you will be fine with EG springs, and will in fact provide a noticable improvement in handling due to the stiffer spring rates. Anyone interested in more information on this please feel free to PM me. There is no reason to keep spreading mis-information about this subject.
