Default Intercoolers

How many of you guys show off your I/C? Or do most of you guys hide them. The reason i ask is because im from Canada and we need to have a front plate. But it's hideous where the stock placement of the plate is. I want to move it to just before the turn signal on the drivers side. But when i do that i also would like to cut out the grill and put in a replacement or leave it open. Long winded i know but the point would be hide it (mesh with small wholes), or show it off (with nothing or mesh with larger wholes). Just wanted some opinions. I did a search but didn't find very much with regards to this. Thanx for any input.

I show mine off, Its more of a personal/sleeper thing.

Eventually I am going to put some black mesh like you were describing in to hide it a little and clean up the front end a bit.

BTW this is my 500th post

when you put in a replacement grill do you need to cut out the stock fins?, i would assume you do, plus the recessed look i can picture looks nicer.

thanx for all the input guys. I wish i had a civic it would be easy to place the plate over that part of the bumper, but on a teg its harder. I cut out my stock fins and start looking tomorrow for a strong grill to put in.

Here's mine, right now it's just got the stock fins on it, but I will probably cut them off, and make a mesh black grill from ... like home depot and just drill some mounts I can put them trough or something. I don't want a damaged intercooler.. That's just not cool, considering taht I have been boosted for less than a week too.

Sorry about this 2nd pic, my friend got in the way when I snap the picture of it.
