Default 680CC + EMS + good tuner = way too much fuel? help.

so like it says, my tuner is trying to get this basemap down before he goes and brings it to the dyno, but he says that the injectors are spraying WAY TOO MUCH FUEL. he said he removed the plug from a cyl and it shot fuel 10 ft in the air??? that sounds rediculous.... i dont understand why he doesnt just keep leaning it out. these are the injectors i bought off of Viren, if anyone else has these injectors can you tell any info on them? besides their size i dont really remember anything about them .... my car has been down forever and now i just want the damn thing back, i have a carshow to be at in 20 days. does this tuner just not know what he is doing or what? what are my options to fix this? this sux because im pretty sure im gonna have to buy new injectors ........ any reccomendations would help, also would prices........ thanks y'all

I think the oves Viren are selling are the p/h.....do you have a resistor box???

Does you "tuner" know how to use the EMS? He needs to open the fuel table then right click and change the injectors. Also what kind of fuel pressure you using here?

Maybe this is stupid, but if your coming from a FMU setup did you remember to take it out?

FMU would not have anything to do with it until he was under boost. But yeah make sure he inputs what size injectors and check your fuel pressure, make sure you dont have kinked return line either which could be shooting fuel pressures up, just little suggestions. Good luck.

Sounds like he doesn't know what he is doing... If he is a good tuner, he should be able to make your car idle like stock with those injectors.

yea im not sure about this tuner, but i dont really know enough to make him look stupid so maybe hes just dicking me around.... i wish i bought a f#cking greddy kit and did it myself..... anyone else care to help me out? or anyone else know a TUNER THAT ACTUALLY CAN DO WHAT HE SAYS??? IVE RUN INTO SO MANY PEOPLE THINKING THEY CAN TAKE ON MY JOB AND THEN THEY CANT.... PEOPLE JUST SUCK I NEED MY CAR BACK SOON BECAUSE IM IN IMPORT REVOLUTION IN A FEW WEEKS................
i think the only way to resolve my problems now are to shoot myself in the head. Not one thing has gone right in this setup, this car and turbo kit is the death of me, now im broke. i have been raped in the *** on this setup more than a white cop in prison....... anybody else spend OVER SIX GRAND on a turbo setup that doesnt work and that sucks worse than a greddy kit? lol
someone please shoot me, i wish i didnt even have a f#cking car now

If he said fuel shot 10ft in the air when he pulled a plug out, it is not running too rich. The enigne is not running at all and for some reason one (or all) of the injectors are firing when the engine is not running. Injector size is not the problem, stock injectors would flood the cylinders too in this situation. I ran 720cc injectors and a 5 bar MAP sensor on a naturally aspirated B18c with an EMS and it ran fine. I'm sure Benson will get in contact with AEM and they'll have your car running soon.

I tuned a car for a customer that bought injectors from viren and they were bad injectors. You might try a new set and see what that does. That fixed our problem.

thanks for the insight tyler. I dont know if he will contact AEM about this, BTW; he already fried my original EMS and had to send it back to AEM for an entirely new circuit board. he says the problems are with the injectors i bought, so he'll just make the problem mine because i didnt buy the injectors off of him so he has no liability with them working.....

My plastic baggie claimed in magic marker that the MSD 65lbs were flow tested. They are running, but I feel a little uneasy about them.

I am running the same injectors from viren + EMS, the tuner had problems with bad coil drivers on the EMS... Fuel but no spark.. Only the #4 and #5 drivers worked on my box, might be something to check into. I was also getting intermittent sparks on the #1 coil driver, you should verify that it is sparking reliably
