Why is my CRX suspension still bouncing?? Please help.
OK, to give you a little background on my CRX. 89 DX lowered with Neuspeed sports and camber kit front and rear. I was using Monroe struts with the factory bumpstops until today when I put in Tokico blues and cut the bumpstop in half. The front of the car still bounces like a pogo stick going down the road. The thing is, the car didn't bounce at all before I had the camber kit installed even though the car was lowered with the Monroes on.
Please help me out and give me your input because I don't know what else to do. Would 1 degree of negative camber in the front hurt anything? I know this defeats the purpose of the camber kit, but I don't drive the car very far each day. Only about 10 minutes back and forth to work, so I don't think the tires will wear very quickly. Please understand that the car didn't bounce until I installed the camber kit, so this might be the problem.
Thanks in advance for your replys.

sounds like your shocks are blown, you just put in new shocks, check them,
they should be ok though if they are new, i got the tockico blues on my car w/ a 2" drop for over 1.5 years and they are still fine,
don't know what else they could be

Bouncing up/down over and over again after a bump is cause by underdamping. There's not much else it could be. Make sure you've installed the dampers properly and that they are working properly.
dude you gotta get the 89 accord struts, sooo much better, i just put mine in lsat night, monroes from advance, and it rides bout stock feelin but stiff handling cuz im slammed on skunk2 coils. just thought id try to help,
I had the same problem after installing a shitty camber kit. Get a better kit and that will solve your problem.

you know what dude . .im running a sprint camber kit with neuspeeds on my hatch but i dont have any problems .. mine rides pretty smooth except for when i hit a bump or pothole then it bottoms hard because one i cut my neuspeeds and two because my bushings are shot .. but i dont bounce .. i am running stock shocks and a half of a half bump stop. i did try blues though and my own experince is that they are a little bouncy ay first but after time they smooth out. maybe it could be in your tires? i dunno.
