Default Calling all Swaps w/ A/C.........Turbo?????

I am contimplating a B series swap into my CRX or 89 hatch but I want to keep the A/C. I know I can get the bracket from hasport but my dilema is that I am not sure if I can pull it off with a turbo installed. Right now the hatch has a D16Z6 turboed w/ the greddy kit and A/C and that is tight fitting.

Has or does anyone have a B series swap w/ A/C and turboed?

Cars w/ A/C, can you post pics so that I can get an idea of available space.

I am serious so any ideas will be helpfull and appriciated. I plan on using a HKS B series manifold with the Greddy turbo retaining the cast 90 degree exhaust outlet as I feel this should give me max clearance of the compressor and radiator.

I live in california, it gets to be 100+ in the summer
even lately its hitting high 80's

Here is a picture of my CRVTEC in my crx w/ HASport mount kit, and A/C bracket.

That was when i first finished the swap.

I actually did my entire crvtec swap without disconnecting any A/C lines.
Since R-12 is very expensive, I was not looking foward to discharging my perfectly working A/C system, so I just did the swap without unhooking anything, worked very well, just was a pain in the *** to work around at times. My A/C fan did NOT fit, there wasnt enough room, regardless, my single fan turns on if i turn my A/C on, and it also turns on if the cars temp gets too hot, so i really have no need for 2 fans.

No it is not all that hot in PA but this is going to be the dayly driver and in the winter A/C helps defrost/defog the windows. Helps alot. And it is also a braging thing. To say that ones car is not stipped is one thing, but to have it all there as it came stock (all the bells and whistles) and kick a gutted car's or a muscle car's *** puts a smile on ones face. Right now the hatch, which is a SI, is turboed, has A/C, full interior, and 17" wheels and I never use the excuse that if the car was lighter I would have beat you. BTW it's best time is 13.39 @105.9 in the stated form above. Never got to run on slicks.

I want the turbo B series swap in the CRX which is lighter and i will have more power to start. In other words the goal is to break 11's w/ a street car (on slicks) that is a true complete steet car.

Thanks for the pics

I have a b16 swap and had the Hasport bracket with both fans and it worked fine, I don't see how you can have turbo, just test fitting my turbo kit there is no way to make it work especialy if you run an innercooler.

Have you considered supercharging? I know you can get a B series, SC, and AC in a CRX.
