I accidently dropped into second instead of forth doing a freeway race.. a black smoke and sparks cam outta my exhaust. I though it scorched a couple of vavles and the head is done for, but it ran fine afterwards.. it was still strong so sings of compression leak or any valves being bent. I don't feel any horsepower lost. THe only problem is that it's really Hesitant when it idles.. It idles at the Correct RPM 700-750 but, it likes hesitants and sounds like it's about to die.. the valve clicking sound is louder then ususaly and the car kinda shakes a lil more too.. anyone one have an Idea on what it is, or could i fix it with outpully my head apart

you've most likely broken something, or weakend something and the damage hasn't become evident yet, you will know soon enough, unfortunately that's all i can tell you

 

Try a leakdown test. I bet you bent a valve.

 

hey Frank, sorry I wigged on you last night, my car is ok, It just sounded bad when you went by. Anyway I hope your car is allright, I'll look at it tonight if you come out

 

it Idles out too.. when i rev it up.. when the RPM goes down it drops to like 500ish before it returns to normal.. I don't think i bent or broken anything or else i woulda felt it or know.. i think the valves adjustment is fucked up.. could that be why?? not loosing any compression at all.. just idles funny sounds like a drag car.. that's about to idle out at around 700rpm.. I also checked all the vacum lines and no leaks or cracked lines..

check your spark plugs, my friend once misshifed on his integra with a b16 he also went from 4th to 2nd, he later found out that he cracked a spark plug in half. He replaced it and everything was good again.
