What else is neccesary for cam's?
My current set up is a b18c1 block with p30 pistons, b16a2 head with crower springs and retainers, Mugen chipped p28, and i/h/e. My next plan is to get either Crower 63402's or Skunk2 Stage2's with cam gears. What else will I need to tune it as far as fuel? I've been told as little as a V-afc to a V-afc, fpr, injectors, and a fuel pump. Other than maybe a IM and that is probally as far as I will go as far as power for a long while. Also maybe a thinner headgasket since my stock one seems to be damaged.
with that setup the motor would want to do well more than 140hp/liter. If I were you I would run 290ccs or 310ccs with the VAFC. I am pretty sure that 190lph pump will be fine for that setup, you wont have to push as much fuel pressure on those injectors. get yourself a B/M fuel gague and FPR kit also. the thinner head gasket is a BAD idea. you have enough compression and timing with that ECU. use stock with ARP head studs.
Ok, as far as the head gasket I guess I'll leave it stock. I just hate spending money and not gaining anything but if its too much compression maybe I won't be gaining anything with it. I was also planning on the ARP head studs but I didnt mention them because they don't affect anything other than reliability.
