"I" personally...think it was due to not using balancershafts. This block had seen some major boost in its days.

hahaha hey i didnt see the word buy anywhere???
anyways i prob would but the top of the crank on the block looks just as bad if not worse than the bearing caps...so the block is trash ...along with crank.. now if you had a crank that would be something i would be interested in.

So you think disconnecting the balance shafts did it? How long have you had them off?

when the bottom was built they were removed, the block has a little over 1,000 on it
you make a deal on that crank with me? Hey I also noticed you make the C/F truck for 5th gen ...how about a 4th?

1,000 miles couldn't you attribute that to assembly? What is involved in making sure the thrust washers stay in?

it might have been assembly??
But this is only my second block to build and this didnt happen to my other block(with bal.). I can be wrong tho
I was just assuming. Im trying to figure out why my bearings are worn to a sharp edge on the sides point to the timing belt side? All of them...
O yeah I need a h23 crank.....

Do the pics detail this? if the thrust washers are gone you would think all the bearings would wear the exact same way from the crank moving

you should be able to see the edges on the right side from the pics....i know that the bearings would all wear the same but just thought it was weird how they all sharpend to one side?..like there was more weight being put down on one side than the other. You know of any other sleeved blocks being sold anywhere? other than that one?

i doubt its cause of the balancer shafts.... i have had the shafts disabled in my f22b for about 6k miles now with no aperant problems....
but damn that sux about the thrust washers... did you plug the oil holes for the balancers? the only way the thrust washers would spin was either puttin em wrong ???? or a sever lack of oil.
