Gas tank lid ??
On my 88 Civic Hb my gas tank lid wont pop open enough when i pull the lever, i have to like pry it open kinda with a pen, key etc..... how would i go about fixing this problem ?
hey man
you'll have to lubracate the cable, I had to do the same thing this summer. up where the fuel door release and hatch release are, you'll have to take out the two screws holding the cover for the two levers. Then take the cable out of the lever, it comes out the same way you'd take the brake cable off a bike or cled or something. Then hold the cable up high while spraying a bit of wd-40 down it, repete this a couple times leaving about a minute between sprays to let the wd-40 go down the cable.
edit: if it still doesnt work after this, try lookesing the two bolts on the fuel door and pulling the door out slightly away from the latch.
