does anybody have a integra ls with 300+whp r runing in the mid-low 12
does anybody in here have a inegra ls runing in the mid-lo 12's or making over 300whp if so whats yur setup. im not really looking for a fully built motor but any ifo is helpful now thanx alot
All you need is headwork, an intake manifold, cams and pistons and youll hit 300 whp considering you turbo can push that much. Ive gone over 400 whp with an LS and the key was the head.
Yeah, get someone to do your head (make sure she is cute, hehe). LS's heads are the weakpoint for making power.
when you say 'head' do you mean a complete head port? including valve jobs and such? or just the intake and exhaust ports? please explain.
TO do it right you will want a good street p&p. Larger valves will definetly help. Cams, springs, some would say retainers but Ive seen too many fail--to me its not worth dropping a valve. I would stick with the oem steel ones.

I was thinking about strapping in a b16 head that flows great but put in the better for boost stock ls cams...so if I get a older b18a is the bottom end the same as the 10 or so more h.p. b18B. Just trying to figure out whether I should bother swithching from b18a to the slightliy better B.
ok so if direp has a bone stock ls motor making 277whp at 12psi so i figure with his setup, revhard stage 2 turbo kit, along with the following mods,skunk2 manifold, aem timing gears,hondata,550cc injectors, thermal exhaust, crower retainers, valve springs, and about 14-16psi the car should make 300-320whp

if u can make 320whp in an LS u will have close to 270 torque. thats definitly possible @ 16lbs. main thing is if u can put it to the ground. if u can, it will go fast. trust me, I need to get new times on my car; the 13.0 was only my 2nd of 3 total passes ever @ 12lbs.

direp do u think with that setup that i listed and 14-16psi the car could make 300-320whp and if not what else do you think the motor would need to get there then. also what do u think a integra coupe and sedan would run with that kind of power on slicks.
I have had great luck with all stock ls motors and heads with stock cams. First time out this year I ran 11.71 @118 with my street crx. I am running 14 pounds and 35 shot of n2o. I dont know what power I am putting down but it should be decent. I have ran this motor motor in the low 12s since mid season last year so the motor is pretty durable. By the way ls motors are cheap. the car weighs right at 2400 lbs.

my buddy ran 12.4@108 this weekend on a stock ls motor in a hatch with 22 inch slick and an 80 shot. he also missed 3rd badly. he'll be upping the shot to 150+ dry and switching to a b16 tranny. the car with either go mid 11's or blow up.
