12.71 @109.89mph Stock motor, Quick 8 Pro Clutch, 13x24.5x8 Mickey T's, Single stage 136 shot of nos Direct port. Trust me-the F22 motors(Big Blocks) are pretty strong if you know how to tune them.

accordking,

i noticed in your pic that you have an external oil line going to the valve cover.

are you running an h23a block or just need the extra oil for hp purposes.
please let me know.

Bgod,
Those extra -8 lines (2) are only for improved PCV(Positive Crankcase Ventilation) capabilities. That's all; they are not oil pump related.

I am running a H22a not a H23 block.

94Accord, not to dog on you, but I'd have to throw up the BS flag on your 15.4 run with just an intake.

The best that I have seen down here is a 16.1 and he had exhaust, headers, pulleys, etc.

I did see an 96 EX pull a 14.9, but that was with a little help from Mr. NOS.

i never actually ran the full 1/4, only an 1/8mile, like i said in my post. IF i had ran the full 1/4 i would of run a ~15.4. My run was made on a very cool sunny day. The temp was ~50 but the sun was out, so i had maximum hp, and the track was warm from the sun for maximum grip. I was getting 2.10x 60' times that day. I back that run up w/ 2 consecuctive(sp??) 9.90s @ 71

ok, i have NEVER heard of a FWD on street tires to better than a 2.2 60'. Why?, b/c it was me that ran the 2.2 and no one at the track after the run could believe it. That run if i can remember correctly (i'll be lookin for the slips tomorrow!) was my 16.3 and the 1/8mi was a very low 10, probably 10.1, or .2......c, it just doesn't make sence to me. Where are u racing? are u at a really low altitude or something? And a S/C'd gsr would probably get WORSE traction than your near stock accord that is much less hp i would imagin.... i just go by how i run and that's it, experiance, and that is what i'm tellin you. I will try to scan the timeslip if i can find it. (this was over 3 months ago in also good weather)

...is anyone else with me on this?...

There was a JDM B18C powered 3rd gen hatch running 14.38 fastest at the track the last time I was there. I believe he hit a 2.19 60' time, or at the very least low 2.2s.

I'll have to agree with props on the driving skill .. not that I don't believe you, its just hard to believe. My other good friend has Prelude (With Vtec) and his best run to date is a 15.2.

Oh well, at least it gives me something to shoot for.

15.9 @ 88mph with I/H/E

15.4 sounds a little far fetched for and EX-L. Remeber, it was "IF" you ran the full 1/4mile. You still havn't, so you can't say that's what you would get. Not until you truthfully run the quarter.
