If it worked before on your d16 and now it isn't there is a good chance that the coolant temp sensor on your b16 is bad. Take it off and hold the brass end in a small pot of boiling water with some tongs or something. Once its been in there for a while check to see if there is continuity between the two pins on the cts. If not thats the reason your fan isn't coming on. Make sure you don't dunk the whole thing in the water because the water will touch both pins and give you continuity. Or you could just say the hell with it and go to honda and buy one since they don't cost much anyway and if it doesn't work now you got a spare. Hope that helps.

To tell you the truth I couldn't tell you without seeing it. On most cars its on the radiator (which in your case it wont be) or somewhere where coolant passes directly over it. Check around the top radiator hose where it connects to the thermostat housing. Take it easy

the sensor to turn on the fan is on the back of the block. check that out it might be bad. let us know what happens when you replace it. should do the trick though. we will see...

as for the coolant temp sensor...its on the left side of the head just below the valve cover....
