A/C condensor removal?
Just pulled my AC yesterday. The condensor removal is pretty easy.
Are the lines gone aswell or still connected? There are 2 silver hardlines on the condensor, one on each side. If those are removed, all you need to do is remove the radiator stay brackets and lift up the radiator and tilt it towards the firewall. You then have to remove a bar that supports the condensor and just lift it out.

The rest of the A/C has already been removed and I'd like to get rid of the condensor as well.

What is that big box underneath the dash?
The chiller unit itself weighs 1kg, maybe 2kg, up to you if it's worth it I guess.
Hope that helps.
yeah, i just took out my whole setup, but left that thing under the dash adn plug all the holes. I want to take it out since there really is no use for it. So if anyone is looking for any AC parts I will sell anything u need.
I would say the whole setup weighs 30 lbs if not close to that.
anyone else actually weigh the ac system????

On my car (JDM so may be different on USDM) you can take the chiller unit out of the box but you have to leave the box in place otherwise the fan/heater won't work.
Thanks guys. Anyone have the part # for that air duct?
there is not a part number. It is included with the dash assy. You can not buy the bridge seperately.....at least that was what we guessed after 45 minutes at the parts counter looking for the part number.
Part #7 in the below picture:
Seal which holes?
There wouldn't be a hole, so much as a large gap.

You can then put the empty box back in place, so no gap.
P.S don't get me wrong, I prefer your approach, I'm not promote racer tape engineering

I never used mine...
here's the installation instructions for DC2 from Acura...reverse to remove...I believe the part number for the piece you are looking for is there too, I haven't looked at it in a while...For the record, I scanned it myself so I know it's accurate!

The condensor sits in front of the radiator, acts just like a raidator. THe evaporator or "cooler" is under the dash and acts like the heater core, only its cold.
