Default sh and base model question

i'm trying to get a base model prelude block to build up to run with my turbo kit. i'm trying to find out whether my sh tranny, head and other parts from the sh would bolt up to the base model's block. if not, what exactly would i need to do that.

another question is, is 1400 shipped a decent price for another sh motor complete with everything except for the tranny.

thanks

An SH tranny will not bolt to a Base block. It will only bolt to a Type SH or TypeS block. The Base and SH heads, however, are interchangable.

you need the base engine and tranny along with the base intermediate shaft and half shafts. with that, we should have no problem bolting up to the SH suspension.

i recommend while youre at it, get a Quaife in your base tranny!

no, the sh block has not bolt holes for the intermediate shaft since it has the atts unit bolted there.
