start saving for the b16a. you will be much happier modifying that engine.... plus if you start moding this engine and you get the b16a later you may endup buying the same parts twice ie: headers intake ect.....

 

Lower it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You got too much gap there bud.

I would beg to differ from ecerybody else. Go save up for an LS swap, then lower it, upgrade the brakes, save up for a VTEC head , then add whatever you want after that.... You will thank yourself for getting that LS, cuz torque really makes a difference on the street.... OR better yet, look for a B20Z motor....think about it! I have a B16 in my CRX and to tell you the truth I would like to have some lower end grunt to it, especially if youre gonna use this car on the streets where most of the time you dont even rev up to 7500-8000 range. GOOD LUCK!

get some springs fpr like a hundread then save for the drop .... just be real...

 

damn i haven't been here in awile...ne ways the first thing u should do seein as how it doesn't cost a thing is to remove that factory stripe down the side :D after that save for a b16a swap then rims,drop,i/h/e...nice clean ride...looks to be in great shape!!

how long have you been into the import seen? 5 extra horses? if theres one thing you need to learn its not to believe advertisements. anyways if i were you id buy a truechoice stage 3 coiloverkit (double adjustable koni shocks with eibach springs), a very big improvement in your performance, moreso than a b16 (not drag of course).

How do i remov the stripe without leaveing the adheasive stuff stuck on the car??

Also i think i am going to do rims and drop my car both at the same time.. I'm hoping i have enough cash by the end of September.

the best stuff i've found for removing the adhesive is non abrasive hand cleaner, its about a buck or 2. peel what will come off then apply liberally to the aftermath use lots of elbow grease and you're done. make sure to use non abrasive hand cleaner. before you buy it open it up and rub some between you fingers if you feel any grit move on.

 

when i get this stripe off will i see paint fade marks??

it shouldn't...unless the paint is faded....jus test it by takin a small peice off of the back portion of it....if it looks different then don't continue....

 

I work at a body shop and I will tell you that unless you have a brand new paint job, you will see lines. And you can't just peel the lines off (unless they are new).

i got the stripe off!!
the drivers side was perfect. it all pealed off good.
but the passenger side.. Thats a different story.
it looks like sumone used a razor blade.. it's scratched to ****..
but it isnt all the noticable..

 

Well the clear corners on the first pic, look bad, in my opinion. Maybe get some new headlights that are clearer, maybe some projectors, or go back to the stock corners. It just stands out too much

 

well it looks WAY better without the stripe!!! i like it so much more.

Drop it a little. NO body kit sleeper is better. Leave the paint as well. B16 is a must. As well as better rims 15's anything over that is too big and will just weigh the car down. ( type R's wouldnt come with 15's if they werent perfect) For that size car at least. Energy suspension bushing kit.
