Im gettin my car squirted itr yellow, i wanna primer my car myself to save me some cash. What i was thinking was primering it then shooting it with a flat yellow and then sanding it down a tad and shooting another coat of yellow, just enough to have a nice solid yellow base, in case i ever get any small scratches or tiny nicks in my final paint job as time goes by it will not be as noticable because of the yellow base. Is this a good idea?
