Default Powered Bazooka bass tubes

Anyone have one? Is it a waste of money, or do they hit relativly hard?

They're actually pretty expensive. Most people I hear have to wire up 2 in order to get any thump.

You probably won't feel it, but you will hear it. It's just there to give some lower bass extension, it won't break any SPL records.

I'm not really into audio systems too much, but I like a little bass in my car. I bought a powered 8 inch bazooka recently from Circuit city for $115. It doesn't set off alarms or anything, but I didn't want it to, it sounds pretty good inside the car, I like it alot.

If you don't want to hassle with figuring how to hook stuff up, bazooka is probably the best way to go. But trust me, you're going to grow out of it, and you'll want to upgrade.

Yeah, I could see wanting a better set up. But for the price, ease of install, and weight, the bazooka is a good buy. I just strapped it to my rear strut bar, and still have all of my trunk for groceries
