i was thinken of getten pioneer, but i heard their amps suck. i need suggestions. thanx.

jbl 1200.1 solos take a max rms of 700 and max w. 1200 if im not mistaken, i have 2 of them w/ 2 1600w spl amps i got off ebay for 160 a piece, alls i can say is that it hurts my ***** after havin it up a while. but you can get a jbl 1200.1 on ebay for 200-250 it owuld sound nice

The 600.1 should be able push that speaker to full excursion without a problem. Power handling is dependent upon the size of the enclosure.

These are for the Adire Brahama. It can take 1600rms but only 800w is needed for a 15" in a 3ft^3 box.

 

yeh the L7s dont need as much power if they are in a big 8 cu. ft. vented and chambered enclosure as if it was in a .88 cu ft sealed enclosure, and those spl amps i got are overrated and that is why they are cheap, but they work great. arnt they made by power acoustik?
