new valvecover
Needed something to do in metals class so I sandblasted my valvecover and cut off the front of the cam gear housing. Before I did that I used a belt sander to shave off the
emblem and the Honda Motor CO. writing.
It's too dark to see the part I cut off of the housing, but it's there.

Thanks for the compents guys! I used VHT hi-temp engine enamel, up to 550*f. I don't even know how it got sprayed so evenly. I just sprayed back and forth both ways and it turned out like that. I won't have a pic of it in the engine bay for a while, I only have the head right now.
When I do get it in I will post it.

Looks good, nice and even paint job
valve covers been painted for 2 years without using hi temp paint, still looks shiny, no chipping or cracking.

Do you know where I could get a ls valve cover? My friend just bought an ls engine swap but it doesnt have the valve cover or spark plugs. We have the spark plugs covered though we just need a valve cover.
