Wanted to know if anyone knows a place that makes a civic type r rear lip for a 00 civic coupe. I want a lip that looks like the JDM CTR rear lip but for a coupe. Option Auto sells a JDM one but it is only for hatchbacks. Thanks in advance

 

i would think that the one for the hatch would fit.

First of there was never a ctr coupe. So therefor there is not a ctr rear lip that fits a coupe. An option you have is an OEM rear lip for the coupe. This lip was found on 99-00 civic coupes as a option in the USA and CANADA.

Thats the lip pictured above. To get an OEM lip is going to be hard since they stopped making them a couple years back. But if you are willing to pay for it they can be found for you. Check icbmotorsports.com and other places like that. For a replica lip you can try jdmshit.com.

 

^^^ Yea, hes right. OEM rear lips are discontinued, I found mine used. And it is not a "type R" lip per se... Although the Si front lip is actually the same part number as the JDM CTR lip...

yeah that white lip up there looks way to tall.. i've seen the lips on jdmshit.com & they are much closer to the real OEM version.

wrong. there are real ctr coupes in asia... like thailand.

They were never made so there is no chance.

 

those 2 "ctr" coupes you saw from thailand were that dude panda's friends. they were not real ctr's. only had ctr parts on them along with ctr stickers.

yup, most (maybe all) of the coupes in Thailand are auto also...

ive seen plenty of these lips in the philippines.. haha this **** can be done! so whoever "THINKS" they know.. think again!
