Default my (bad) experience with SR20Performance

disclaimer: There seem to be a lot of people that had good experiences with Louis, so my case may just be an isolated one. But if it were to happen to you, you'll probably be pretty frustrated, so I'm posting this for a couple days just to let other people know. Good customer service should be valued by a good business.

Here is the situation: On Feb 13th, I saw an ad on here placed by sr20performance that linked to their website. I clicked on it and it had a used B-series Maxrev downpipe for sale. I thought this is great since it's one of the two last items I need to complete my turbo installation (for the week of March 8th). I paid for it on that day and called and PM just to verified that the order came through. Louis answered the phone and told me everything is good and it'll be shipped out by Monday (Feb. 17th). That was cool with me. About a week and a half later, I began e-mailing and sending him PM to see if the downpipe has been sent out yet. I didn't get a reply nor was my phone calls returned. On March 6th, I e-mailed Louis on his hotmail account to ask him if he had sent out the downpipe, if not, could he send it to the address I was to work on my car. He actually replied and ask for my address. I gave him my address and haven't heard from him since. I e-mailed him for the last time on March 14th to ask him if the dp has been shipped. I haven't received a reply. Louis may have some reason for the delay, but he should at least call me or reply to my e-mail to let me know of the situation. But I received nothing, and my turbo kit is still in my closet....where it'll stay until this summer because of this delay.

Just wanted to vent, that's all. And for all those shops on here with good customer service to you guys.

Well, it's kinda too late now considering specie had a certain timetable for his turbo project. Personally, I've never dealt with SR20Performance, so thanks for giving us your experience with them. In general, I feel that it's the vendor's foremost responsibility to communicate with the buyer. I don't see how it would take over a month to send out a part that should be in stock... perhaps we can hear the other side of the story. Sorry to hear about your turbo project being delayed. Good luck and keep us posted if possible.

No, I haven't received the part yet. I doubt I will. I'm notifying the credit card company very soon.

i have had a bad experience with Louis as well. I ordered my whole custom turbo kit from him and he really ripped me off. I told him to COD the rest of the stuff and he ended up over charging me on his invoices, lying about shipping charges..Never returned my calls, always something was late getting there, bad seller in my opinion, he just isnt ready...

To Louis

I'd at least like an apology....but I guess we're not important enough for that.

Sorry about your incident. It sucks that they're advertising on honda-tech while having problems with honda-tech members with no resolution.
