Just got my H&R Springs
The instructions advise against cutting bumpstops, i've also called H&R and they also advise against it. I know the shock won't have much room to travel if I don't cut the bumpstop.
Anyone with H&Rs cut their bumpstop?
Thanks

if the h&r instructions advise against it, then I wouldn't do it.
It is possible to engineer springs that are supposed to work with the bumpstops - this results in a smoother transition into full compression of the spring & bumpstop instead of having it just go "thunk" and nail the bumpstop at full compression.

ohh man...i had H&R's on my dc5-s...i thought they were crap, it was noticeably higher in the frnt then the back..and the ride was shitty compared to Eibach sportlines which i have now.
thats just my opinion...

I have'nt put them on yet. I'm still deciding about the bumpstop thing.
I would imagine the ride to be harsh, because the shock travel will be less. The car would almost be riding on the bumpstop.
Could someone please correct me if i'm wrong?
