TUNING hondata 2b and s100, Shopping List
okay, i'm to the point where i've got a few buddies who are willing to pitch in and get the equipment needed to tune our cars ourselves..
Currently i'm running the old 2b system, but the other guys are probably going to just purchase the s100b system..
So my question is, what will we need to be able to tune our systems by ourselves? I am aware of some of the items needed, but would like a complete list so I dont end up buying something that is unecessary and uneeded..
btw, i'm eager to put the "autotune" feature to use when we actualy get down to tuning the cars..

In order to tune your hondata 2b and their hondata s100 systems, you need to purchase the s200 system with all programing goodies. These include the romulator, the emulator, software and pocket programmer to burn the chip once you are finished. You are looking at around 1200.00 or so for the s200 system that is fully programable. Dont forget the 500-1200.00 wideband set-up so you can perfect air/fuel in partial throttle and boost. Its expensive, and unless you really know what you are doing its not safe to tune your own engine. Hondata is probably one of the easiest systems i have used to tune, but you can still wipe out an engine if you dont know what you are doing...
