Transmission cooler for 94-97 Accord, anyone have one installed?
Hello, I'm thinking of putting a tranny cooler and inline filter on my girlfriends 94 accord. The old fluid in it was dark(just bought car 2 weeks ago) and will be flushing all old fluid out, while putting on cooler. I'm wanting to know what kind and size of cooler everyone has? Also it helps if someone could tell me the locations of the inlet/outlet lines (so I won't make a mess on the floor). I'm going to put a B&M #70268 cooler and a Magnefine inline filter in my 02 Accord coupe very soon. ALSO, STILL LOOKING FOR A DRIVERSIDE DOOR PANEL IN TAN CLOTH FOR A 94 ACCORD EX COUPE. Thanks, David
I am using a FAL (a.k.a. Flex-A-Lite) #4118 tranny cooler on my 94 Accord. The size is 7 1/2" x 15" x 3/4." I'll try and post a pic soon.
Hey David, I'm using the B&M tranny cooler. I had the shop install it during the rebuild. It looks like it actually acts as an auxillary because it is also routed through the bootom of the radiator core. I don't know which is inlet/outlet.
I also had them fill it with synthetic fluid; that seems to make a noticeable difference.
Where did you get the inline filter? I've been looking for one.

Hey Rabbit9, I haven't gotten it yet, but people on the AccordV6.com site recomend it. Go to http://www.emergingent.com to find out more info on it. It's called Magnefine inline filter. It's not the big oil filter type(where to you put something that big?) it's a smaller inline type. Do you remember the model # B&M you have?? Thanks, David
