Default Auto tranny shifting at higher rpms than normal?

My 91 accord shifts gears at about 3k rpms... is that normal? I'm not really flooring the accelerator or anything like that at all?

Any suggestions?

Have no clue about a 91 but my 97 shifts around there too. And, like you, I don't drive it hard.

That sounds about normal, My cousin has a 96 and she drives like a granny and it shifts up at 3K normally.
