Hi guys,

where can i find the ECU on a 96 accord? it has an automatic tranny, but i figure it would be the same location.

I tried the passenger side kickpanel, but nothing is there!

the ecu is in the passenger side footwell.
you need to lift up the carpet close to the firewall, and it's there under a metal plate.

unbolt the plate from the floorboard and the computer is attatched to that plate.

 

i have a 94-95 lx auto control unit if you need another.

 

the 1996 and up have the ECU and TCU all in one unit.

but how much do you want for the auto control unit?

 

has a 96 ecu auto sitting in the garage . if needed

 

make me an offer. i do not know if it works or not, i pulled it from a junkyard bc i thought a fellow accord owner may be in need of it. willing to pay for return shipping if it dosent work
