slightly OT: Dealer rip off
called up a dealer today for the pricing for a o2 sensor (secondary) ...
quoted me $240 ... some reason, I think are jacking up that price ...
does anyone know somewhere I can purchase one online or at a cheaper alternative?
its not for a itr, but for a 96 accord... which is why its slight OT, but this may come into use for other members.
acuraautomotive and hondaautomotive dont seem to sell it online.
TIA
attention search ******: I've done this already.

Get an after market one... The Bosch one is about 150.00. That the OEM replacement. If you want to wire it up yourself it will cost you about 90.00 or maybe less.
Funny thing about the Bosch O2 sensor is that it's made by denso... go figure

Lol, each dealership throughout the country will vary on prices. Why? Cause the parts manager/upper management tend to go that route.
Which, in my opinion, is gay
.This is why dealerships have such a bad reputation on dumb ideas like this. Have been in the OEM parts business for a few years now and I do see alot of BS crap that goes around the customers needs and satisfaction.
Just my .02 cents.
