stock rubber or urethane bushings?
my bushings are shot, I want to replace them with a urethane kit but im afraid becuase the baaad review on crxsi.com for hyperflex bushings, anyone have good/bad news on these?
So far the ES bushings we put on the CRX are just fine. I strongly urge you to only do the following: Trailing Arm donuts, rear lca's, front and rear sway bars, and the radius rods up front. This is for the street mind you. For an all-out road race setup there are a few others. Drag is a completely different animal. I replaced the rear upper arms with stock ones-bushings are in them. The front control arms can be rebushed with camber kits from Specialty in either rubber or poly.
A note: the Specialty and Ingalls catalogs have a statement in BOLD RED print telling you NOT to use polyurethane parts unless it is a track application.
Handling will be much improved with the setup changes. Consider a stiffer sway bar for the rear if you plan to autocross.

i did the es kit i hear the red squeeks so get the black if you dont want that i dont really think you would even hear it over my car so i just got the red ones
Out of the million of people that put them in....there are only two poeople I know that have had problems......
I can account that to user error..the bushing were put in wrong...
Notice the ones on CRXsi.com look like there is no grease on them..I think thats what killed them.

I have had a set installed for about 1 year and have only praise for their performance and lack of noise. It is obvious that the individual on that site either installed them improperly and or did not properly lubricate the bushings with the supplied grease. I am sure there are other greases that would work but if you do not use any or the wrong type they will prematurely wear and make noise the whole time.
