Hi All,

I am in the process of upgrading my suspension, I have the rear suspension stripped and I noticed the RTA (rear trailing arm) bushings were shot, after further inspection I noticed the compensator arms look old, and rusted.

Do I need to replace these and the bushings? Is it worth it? This is going to be a streetable/weekend drag car. I say this to rule out the thought of me doing any type of autocross.

New Components being installed:

- Springs
- Struts
- LCA's
- Sway Bar/Sub Frame Brace (I gotta have a lil bling!! lol)
- RTA bushings
- Rear Camber Kit

I replaced all the bushings in my rear end this past week. The toe compensator bushings were by the far the easiest to replace, but I have a 20 ton press. Those bushings were also the ones that looked like they least needed to be replaced.
I also highly recommend the schley tool for replacing the trailing arm bushings. It made it so easy it was easy and I didn't have to remove the arms.
Not to jack your thread (all though it was quite dead anyway), but I am ordering some of the ingall adjustable upper links for the rear camber. I know I don't need them on the 95 del sol right? But I don't care, I drive 170 miles daily high speed and the inside of my tires are wearing so I want to dial it in for reduced highway wear. No it's not toe, I have a lifetime alignment deal and the toe has been set. Anyone with experience putting these on? My concern is if can I just jack it up, loosen the bolts and throw them on or is there going to be some concern with the spring tension? Thanks.

If you're already in there, you might as well replace them.

The bushings from Honda are like $16 each, or the arm $36. Not too expensive.

I ended up ordering replacements. I also got a Rear Trailing Arm extractor tool specific to the civic/sol.
