anybody out there know what happend to my car?? i was driving in the rain for about 1 hour and after letting it sit for 10 mins, i took it out for anotther spin. suddenly it stoped idling. the car basically died. i start it up, it dies again. i start it up and give it some gas, keep my foot on the gas petal while in neutral @ 1.5 rpm's. drove it like that for about a block and the check engine light comes on. then the car starts chokin a bit but at least its idling now @ 1 rpm. took it home and shut it off for about five minutes then everything was back to normal again. Or at least i think everything is. Anybody know what just happned to my ride?

 

Wow, the engine is turning once a minute? 1 RPM? Crazy.

Seriously though, check what code it is throwing so you have a better idea of what is wrong.

 

1 rpm as in 1 x 1000 and how do you check the cpu code?

 

you live in san jose right? do you have a Si or a CX or DX. kuase im actually lookin for a d16z engine if you have n Si that is????

 

Jump the two pin connector thingy by the ECU. Read the blinks on the check engine light.

I don't have a D series motor.
