I was looking in my motor today trying to figure out why my Low end gotten worst. and i was checking the belt and it seems it loose, i can actually sqeeze them in almost touching each other. can this cause me to be really slow at first?? and how tight should it be??

 

i don't think it should have more than 1 inch deflection, side to side. your timing could be off, thus losing the low end.
