Y8 IM with a B series TB

Y8 IM with a B series TB
I know i can put just about any B series TB on my Y8. I want to know if i have to port match it or will it be ok on the Y8. I just want to know before i go to the junk yard to find a 99-00 SI that i can use it with no problem. If i do have to port match, will it me ok if i don't do it?
