Default powertrain vibration, not sure what it could be, maybe in the clutch

altrighty, so i am driving home for school today, and i notice a large vibration during decel and idle, while i am accelerating, it is smooth, also, if i rev the engine with the clutch in, it still vibrates, but if the car is parked and iin nuetral and rev it, it doesn't seem as bad, and if you are standing outside of the car, you can't really hear anything unusual, but inside the car, the is defiantely a vibration, and it makes almost like a muffler rod knocking of noise (no, it's not rod knock)... it's actually kind of hard to explain the noise really, but that's the closest thing i can come up with..... my best guess as of right now is the possibility of some sort of problem in maybe the clutch, but other than just a guess, i have no ideas... anyone got any help on this one??

check all your ball joints, tierod ends, and wheel bearings, if those are ok, id guess axles.

yeah, um, i figured out what was wrong... i took it to school today to have my auto-tech teacher take a look at it, see if he could tell, he get's in it, drives around the building, gets out of the car, pops the hood and says "you've got an engine mount loose" so when he opens the hood, we look closely and sure enough, the driver's side engine mount has become loose don't you just hate it when teachers are right
