How should i power LCD?
I was wondering how i should power my lcd in my car. I got a lot of help from outxider, but i was wondering should i splice my power wire that came from my radio, or how should i do it?
How much power does the lcd need to run? I have no idea. Splicing into the radio power is probably fine if consumption is low, less than 30watts.
um...run the wire to an open fuse spot and add a fuse and a +12V power when the key is on. or just run that wire into an existing fuse.
*edit--or just take it to a shop and have them hook it up for you before you hurt yourself or mess up your car.

you can ground it somewhere..and hook it to a switch..and run the switch to the battery...you could even throw in a fuse holder in there to protect your LCD...or you can hook it up straight behind your deck...to a remote wire..and ground it...its upto you...
