Default HELP: problems after egr/coolant bypass

just did the bypass for the iac/throttle body, as well as for the egr...went for a 5min drive and found the car to be driving normal but giving itself gas(just figured i tweeked the throttle cable a little) so i went back home...upon parking the car there was burnt coolant smoke coming from the radiator and it even looked like some of it spilled out on the fan, etc too...the engine sounded like it was running hot as well...any ideas what i did wrong?

only idea is that the egr, which has 2 holes, my plate had both absent...one of these couldnt be a coolant path could it? thanks

sorry I cant help but I really want to find out more about these mods, I've done all of the other free mods yet decided to wait on warmer weather to do the coolant bypass and the EGR mod.

Keep me posted on how it works out for you
