Default CX versus DX, does this make sense?

I was thinking that buying a CX hatch instead of a DX hatch is the way to go for an engine swap since the VX is cheaper.

My plan is to buy a 2000 CX and drop in a B18C in it. I am debating about using a 93 DX for the swap but tend to like the body style on the 00 hatch better.
Any opinions???

Anyone done this recently? Are the mounts the same in the CX?
I tried to do a search but did not find the specifics I was looking for.

Is the B18C1 better for this swap or is the B18C5 the way to go? What about a B-20, is it also as easy to swap as the B18C? Which one gives me more power with minimal internal mods?
Thanks

i like the 00 hatch best...as for motors...if u want turbo...go b18c1....if u doin the all motor route go with the C5...if u wanna do the b20 do the b20 its ur car do wut u want....doing a swap in ur garage mayb complex if its ur first swap and dont have anyone else there with prior experiance...but if u take it to a shop they could swap it for u fairly easy...

why do you want a cx for?? is it lighter than a dx??? if your in it for the weight save and you would like that style hatch, i suggest you get a 1996 cx, because 96 is the lightest out of all the years

Cause if I were to go the Hatch 00 route, the CX is cheaper to buy than the DX.
