My car dies when the a/c is on. The car runs fine with it off. I just put in a motor in my 95 civic hb cx. HELP!!! could it be the ECU (chipped p28), alternator, or something else?????

 

Not going to be too much help here, but the ECU is supposed to sense when the AC is on and raise the idle to compensate. You'd have to do some research to find out what supplies the signal and where it comes from/goes to.

 

ummm ok....but it was running fine when i had my b16a2 the other month......this is my third motor in two months (the other two blew...dropped a valve and bad oil pump) and the other two didnt have this problem.

 

dont turn on the ac

 

ummm, ac used to stall my d-series on real hot days, theres just not enough power to keep it going.
