My DC sports stainless catback on my 95 teg GSR, has finally given up the fight for the last time. Can't complain, its been on the car since 97, with a refurb a year later in 98 due to the resonator and tip buzzing. (internal spot weld were loose).

Now after some time and about 90K miles, the resonator is buzzing again, and the weld before the muffler can (support around muffler to pipe bracket) has cracked. Called DC about warranty. No go...warranty is only 2 years including refurbs.

Besides mine being junk, it is no longer available. The DC sports is 3 pieces now for easier shipping.

After talking with DC, they guy was going to check on a good deal on a new one if I send back the old, (out of date) parts.

Not sure I wanna go down the DC sports road again, so what are my options. There are so many out there now it is soooo confusing. I think what I have is 2-1/4, and I might want 2-1/5" or bigger. I only have IHE and pulleys, but forced induction down the road might be a possibility.

Also notice some mfg are doing a different exhaust route, Instead of coming back the center and going right at 90, it takes a more direct route toward where the muffler sits. That's cool.

Basically guys, what would you recommend, take the deal DC is offering, or go elsewhere and if elsewhere, WHAT?

You may want to talk to KTeller. He can make you a 2.5'' catback that would be fine for allmotor or FI. You get to choose whatever muffler you want and if you want it stainless steel or not. To KTeller
