I really want to get some hids for my 96 civic but i dont know if i want to buy a kit because i dont really think it will look good on the oem headlight housings ie glare. i want to know does anybody have oem audi or bmw projector hids in their civic.

i dont know about anyone doing it in their civic but someone on here did it with an integra they used an audi projector...do a search something should come up

As far as HID goes, there are 2 types of blubs. Bulbs for projectors (D2S) and bulbs for reflectors (D2R) you won't get a propper light pattern if you go with the wrong kind of bulb.

 

Does anybody have oem audi/bmw projectors on their civic?

 

if you have aftermarket projectors like the angels eyes, etc, you need hid kits made for H3 style bulbs

i am not sure if this will be much help to you. this is a guy who retrofit audi projectors into some similar aftermarket headlights for his EK.
when/ if you do your swap can you post a how to? i am interested in doing the exact same thing using the same headlights you want to use
