Default Brake Failure

So neither of my rear wheels will turn freely with the car in the air and the e-brake off. The passenger side is stuck, the driver side turns with quite a bit of effort. What is the best way to fix this problem? Since both sides are stuck, i doubt the calipers are broken. What's the best way to go about inspecting/fixing/replacing the E-brake cable?

Take off the wheels, and disconnect the e-brake cable from each side. (a spring thing is all) If the problem is still there, and I would bet it will be, you'll have to take off the calipers and lube the slides. This is what lets the caliper "float" around the disk, and it moves when you apply the brakes.

There are 2 sliders on each side, and they need to be taken out, lubed with high-temp grease, and then re-installed. They will slide in and out like a good time w/ your g/f.

This should solve the problem, but you may also need to turn in the pistons (I think you screw them clockwise) so you can put it all back together.

Don't step on the brake pedal when the caiper is off, or you'll have a mess. (don't know how good you are with brakes)

He pretty much covered it. You gotta take a look. Maybe after you take off the handbrake cables, make sure the levers they were attached to can spring back to their 'not-applied' position. Then you just have to see what's still tight.

I completely disconnected the parfking brake cable in the pasenger compartment, but it still drug a little bit. I treid to take the calpier off, but it seems the bolts aren't going anywhere, either because they've been heated in place (i guess that's possible) or corroded. Eitehr way, it's going to have to see a shop, my hand tools can't do anything against the caliper bolts
