did compression test on my LS.. we got a problem
ok. well i noticed some oil around the spark plut area. so i decided to investigate and also i have a compression tester now so i was curious. i pop the plug wires and BAM cyl 3 has oil in it. i was like uhh oh. so on to the compressoin test it goes as following 190 205 90 190.. most likely a blown head gasket on the inside ehh? i was going to pop the valve cover, but it got dark.

yah rings.. i was thinking that too cuz i cant see leakage anywhere around the head.
damn. would it be easier to pull the motor and change the rings. or just take the head off and the oil pan and have it high enough. i might go with choice 2 and keep the block in the engine bay.

cyl. 3 (205 psi) (or is that cyl 2, cuz of firing order. helms says [passenger side] 4,3,2,1 [drivers side] ) had a good amount of oil not covering the plug all the way tho.
Just because the plug has oil on it doesn't mean your engine is going to blow up! I had a dodge neon that started leaking oil into the combustion chamber at around 80,000. I traded it when it had 148,000 on it and never had any internal work done. It was using a quart of oil every 500 miles by then but it still started and ran every morning and made good power.
