going to buy the comptech exhaust catback system in a day or two. im just curious if anyone in here has one on their teg and if their satisfied with the performance, sound etc...

 

Comptech is one of the upper tier exhausts on the market, you will not be disappoitned.

 

It was on my GSR when I got it. Sounds great, excellent fit and finish.

 

Why did they go up so much in price recently? Does any place sell them for a reasonable price?

 

nice exhaust. i heard it on an S2K geting dynoed.
price might have gone up since a lot of shops don't have them in stock and have to special order them. *cough* but we do have it *cough*

 

the best price i have found is 619.95....dunno if they have it in stock or not though.
comptech is expensive as hell but i love the look of that exhaust, not ricey.

 

I just installed mine this weekend. Very quiet, almost stock. IMO

 

its pretty loud.

I had it on my gsr with i/h/e a while ago. it is quiter than the n1 series exhausts. but it is still really loud.

for the price it isnt very big internal diameter either.

i would much rather have that over the comptech.

and please do a search, a million people have the comptech and others, just be patient and search for more topics.

 

you sure about that?? i've heard Type 1 and IMO it's much louder than comptech.
