Default Went to The junkyard today to get my mpfi parts. got a few ?'s

I already searched for this but got nothing. I went to the junkyard to get my mpfi parts but they didnt have any crx or civic si's out there. only dx's. My questions are can i use a hf dizzy instead of si and can i use a d16a1 intake manifold and ecu instead of d16a6? Thanks for the help

pretty sure cann't use a A1 intake manifold, can use the HF dunno why....Find a Z6 or a Y8 intake both will bolt up fine. If you have to use a HF ECU or get one out of a 88-89 teg...Diz the HF is fine

I don't think you can use the a1 manifold. Looks the same as the a6 but from what I remember the throttle body and manifold are smaller than the a6.

You can use an HF/Si distributor. They are the same, as both came from OBD-0 MPFI vehicles. As for the intake manifold, get an A6 or Y8 manifold. Others just won't cut it. I'm sure someone has one for sale on here or on the thepartstrader.com for cheap. Also, make sure you get the injector resistor. Many people seem to forget this while acquiring parts.

You can also use the Z6 intake.

Why wouldnt a 92-95 dx with a crx si fuel rail and obd 0 harness work? Abnd i already have a resistor box. I dont care about makin it fast with an mpfi swap i just want my car moving again.

you would need obd0 injectors w/ the 92-95 dx. id think the manifold itself would fit just fine.
