Default How to weld internal wastegate shut? (turbo newbie questions)

Before anyone trys to hate on me, I did a search of even archived topics and just cant seem to come up with what I'm looking for.

I'm a newbie to the turbo scene so I have some really green questions.

I have a T3 with an internal wastegate, how do I take it off? I see the arm and diaphram are only bolted on but on the exhaust side, theres a flap that opens and closes, is this the part that I have welded shut? If so, what about the rest of the ar m that sticks out the side? Do I cut it off and screw a scew into the hole to plug it up?

Wastegate vacuum goes to compressor housing correct?

My bov, there are 4 vacuum inputs/outputs, I know one set is to a vacuum line off intake mani, but what about the other two? Do I just connect them together? (its an apexi twin chamber bov)

Thanks for the info peoples,

Mike
