Ground Controls VS Skunk2 Adjustable Springs
Hello everyone! I currently have Neuspeed Springs and Yellow Koni shocks. I sure don't like the ride. The car came like that when I bought it used. Those must be the old Neuspeed Springs, because they do not have the threaded adjustment style, which I would prefer. I have been thinking of switching to either Ground Control or Skunk2 Adjustable Springs to go with my Yellow Koni shocks. I have been hearing that Skunk2 springs are pretty bouncy. This is my daily driver car, but I am also thinking of getting into Autocross this year. Any good suggestions would help. Thanks!
From what I've heard, GC's are definitely the way to go. I'm thinking about replacing my h&r's with some myself. My friend had Skunk's on his civic, and they were bouncy as hell. Several people have the GC/Koni setup...I'm sure you'll get some decent feedback.
I have had both and love both. I think I like my skunks better though. they are stiffer and better for drag racing thne my Gc's were.
they are far from bouncy.
they are far from bouncy.
I've had my Skunk2's for 2 years and I still love 'em. I haven't tried the GC's but I've heard only good things about those as well.

i have ground controls and i personally i love them. my car is a daily driver and i'm also rolling on stock shocks, which isn't too bad.

i had koni yellows and skunk2 coilovers on my old teg and I loved it. It wasnt bouncy for me. and nope, you cant get custom spring rates from skunk2, just Ground Control
hey my brother has koni yellows with GCs on his 2000 GSR. i love it. and i cant wait to get some GCs myself. i have heard they are better than the skunk 2s but i think they are both good companys. the skunks are a rougher ride from wat people have told me
Wow, thanks for all the responses. I have the blue Neuspeed springs. You are right, I do hear weird noises from them. Well this will help me in my decision process.
get ground control my frens just put them on with some koni yellows rides perfect. good for auto crossing to. and the are very smooth and comfortable or u can make the still and u feel every damn thing and it mad bouncy. so go ground control wery good and u can feel the car turns better and rides great
This has been talked about dozens of times, my opinion is they are basically the same in quality and in ride. Only better aspect of GC's is that you can get custom spring rates and the fact that they use Eibach springs. I personally have Skunk2 and I have 0 complaints, I love em. You will get mostly biased opinions when you ask people about the 2. Not many have experienced both in their own daily drivers
